Why we built this
Event technology has been priced for Fortune 500 event teams. Most conferences are run by an association coordinator, a university department, or a marketing manager with three other jobs. They have the same attendees and the same expectations, and a tenth of the budget. So we built a conference app that does the job well and costs what a mid-size event can actually pay.

One Event plans start at $2,500, flat. Unlimited Events starts at $10,000 a year. The price does not change with attendance, and the quote covers everything: unlimited registrations, branding, live video, onboarding, and support. Most event apps quote in the $3k to $10k+ range. We don't. Send your dates and expected attendance and you get a number back by email, not a sales sequence. Do attendees need to download an app or create an account?
No download, yes account. ConferenceTap is a web app. Attendees open the event in the browser on their phone or laptop; there is nothing to install and no app store. Attendees create a free account when they register. That account is where their personal agenda, bookmarks, messages, and QR code for check-in live, and it is why a room change reaches the right person.
Can we try it before we buy?
Yes. The free trial lets you build a real event with up to 100 registrations and sessions up to two hours long, with self-guided onboarding. Start a free trial or book a demo and we will build a sample of your event with you.
Does it work for a fully in-person conference?
Yes. In-person events get the agenda with room locations, uploaded floor plans, QR code check-in from a phone or tablet, attendee messaging, and announcements. Live video is there if you want an overflow room or a remote speaker, and stays out of the way if you don't.
Do we need Zoom or another streaming tool for virtual sessions?
No. Sessions stream inside the app with chat, Q&A, polls, breakout rooms, moderators, and recordings. A single virtual or hybrid session can hold up to 15,000 attendees.
Can we use our existing registration system?
Yes. import your attendee list from a CSV or another registration tool, or use ConferenceTap's own registration page with free and paid tickets. Zapier connects registrations to your CRM, email platform, or spreadsheet either way.
Is there a discount for nonprofits?
Yes. Mention your organization when you request pricing and we will quote a nonprofit rate.
