Accelevents alternative: Accelevents pricing, strengths, and other options

Accelevents is a well-reviewed event platform for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, with a published starting price. People look for an Accelevents alternative when registrant fees and add-ons push the total past the starting price, or when they want one flat number for a conference. This page covers what Accelevents costs, what it does well, and the realistic options, ConferenceTap included.

What Accelevents does well

Accelevents covers the whole event, from registration and ticketing to the event app and the venue door. Its in-person tools are a real strength: organizers design badges and print them ahead of time or on demand, and attendees can check in at staffed desks or self-service kiosks by scanning a QR code. Exhibitors scan badges in the app and add notes to each lead. For virtual and hybrid events it has a virtual hub with live streaming and on-demand playback, and it can run separate registration flows for onsite and online attendees.

It is also well liked. Reviewers on G2 and Capterra rate it highly and often mention responsive support, training, and a logical interface. Accelevents bought the virtual event platform High Attendance in April 2023, and in 2026 it added support for hosted buyer programs. Unlike many platforms in this category, it prints starting prices on its website.

Pick Accelevents if on-site operations matter most: printed badges, kiosks, and exhibitor lead capture at a busy registration desk. It also fits teams that want published starting prices and a vendor that supports in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats in one contract.

Look further if your event is larger than the registrant credits in the plan, you need virtual sessions without an add-on, or you want a price that does not change with headcount.

What Accelevents costs

Accelevents publishes four plans. Professional starts at $7,500 for one event. Business starts at $13,500 for unlimited events, with unlimited admin seats, cross-event reporting, and an event listing page. Enterprise and White Label are quoted; White Label removes Accelevents branding and adds a custom URL, email domain, and a branded app store listing.

The starting price is not the whole bill. Each paid plan comes with registrant credits that count against a registrant usage fee. Accelevents counts everyone with access to the event as a registrant, including ticket holders, admins, staff, speakers, and exhibitors. Past your credits, you pay a fixed amount for each extra registrant, depending on your plan, invoiced after the event. On a single-event plan, unused credits do not carry over; on an annual plan they do. Virtual and hybrid functionality is a separate paid add-on, charged up front. Third-party listings say Professional includes about 500 registrants and Business about 2,000, but Accelevents does not confirm those numbers on the page we checked.

Questions to put to Accelevents. How many registrant credits does my plan include? What is the fee per registrant past that? Do speakers, staff, and exhibitors count? What does the virtual add-on cost? What is the fee on a paid ticket for my plan?

How ConferenceTap prices it. One flat price per event, or one price for a year of events, quoted for your calendar. The price does not go up with attendance, organizer seats, or features, and live sessions are included. Paid tickets carry 3% plus Stripe processing; free tickets are free. See how the plans work.

Other Accelevents alternatives worth a look

The right replacement depends on which part of Accelevents you rely on. Badge printing and on-site kiosks point to one set of tools. An agenda, live sessions, and networking point to another.

Large suites such as Cvent and Bizzabo handle registration, badges, venues, and marketing for big event teams. See our Cvent comparison and Bizzabo comparison.

Ticketing-first tools such as Eventbrite fit events that mostly need to sell tickets. See our Eventbrite comparison.

ConferenceTap fits a conference that wants agenda, live sessions, networking, sponsors, and check-in on one flat price, with unlimited registrations and nothing for attendees to install.

What to check before switching from Accelevents

Do this with a real agenda and made-up attendee records. Price both platforms at your real headcount, including speakers, staff, and exhibitors.

  1. Count everyone who needs access to the event, not just ticket buyers. Use that number for both quotes.
  2. Export registrant lists, ticket orders, exhibitor leads, and session recordings from Accelevents. Check the file formats.
  3. Decide how you will handle badges. If printed badges are essential, confirm the plan with each vendor before you commit.
  4. Ask us to import a sample agenda with at least two tracks. Open it on a phone and check every session, room, and speaker.
  5. Rehearse check-in with a phone at the door and a few test tickets.
  6. Get both quotes in writing: platform, registrant overages, add-ons, and ticketing fees.

These are evaluation steps, not a promise that every Accelevents export maps cleanly into ConferenceTap. Download the quote comparison worksheet (CSV) to keep both quotes side by side.

Accelevents questions organizers ask

How much does Accelevents cost?

Accelevents' pricing page lists Professional from $7,500 for one event and Business from $13,500 for unlimited events. Enterprise and White Label are quoted. Each paid plan includes registrant credits, and registrants past that are charged a per-registrant fee. Virtual and hybrid functionality is a paid add-on. Prices checked October 13, 2026.

What counts as a registrant on Accelevents?

Accelevents' help center defines a registrant as anyone with access to your event, whether or not they attend. That includes ticket holders, admins, staff, speakers, and exhibitors.

Is ConferenceTap cheaper than Accelevents?

It depends on your headcount and what you need. Accelevents' price grows with registrants and add-ons. ConferenceTap quotes one flat price per event or per year, with unlimited registrations, unlimited organizers, and live sessions included. Send us your dates and expected attendance and we will send a number you can put next to Accelevents' quote.

Does ConferenceTap print badges like Accelevents?

Badge printing is not on our published feature list. ConferenceTap checks attendees in by QR code from any phone. If printed badges and kiosks are central to your event, Accelevents is strong there; raise it in your demo so we can talk through your check-in plan.

Has Accelevents been acquired?

No. We found no acquisition of Accelevents as of October 13, 2026. Accelevents itself acquired the virtual event platform High Attendance in April 2023.

Can I see ConferenceTap with my own event first?

Yes. Book a demo and we will build a sample of your event with you, so you can try the attendee app and organizer tools before you decide.
