How to compare conference apps fairly
Most comparisons go wrong because the quotes cover different things. Put every vendor on the same footing before you look at the totals.
We publish these pages, so read them as one vendor's view. Each one names the cases where the other product is the better choice, and links the sources so you can check our work.
- Write down your attendance, number of events per year, organizer count, and whether you sell paid tickets.
- Ask every vendor for a total in writing: platform, setup, streaming, branding, ticket fees, and payment processing.
- Run the same demo tests on each: import a two-track agenda, move a session, check someone in on a phone, and export the data.
- Open the attendee app on a phone that has never installed anything. Count the steps to reach the schedule.
- Ask who will answer your email the week of the event.
For the cost side, read how much a conference app costs. For the feature side, use the conference app feature checklist.
