Airmeet alternative: Airmeet pricing, its current status, and other options

Airmeet is still selling its virtual event and webinar platform, but the company has cut its staff several times since 2023 and its pricing now leads with webinars. If you run conferences on Airmeet, or are pricing it for one, this page covers what Airmeet costs, where the company stands, what it does well, and the realistic alternatives, ConferenceTap included.

Where Airmeet stands in 2026

Airmeet has not been acquired or shut down. We found no announcement of either as of October 13, 2026, and its pricing page, help center, and blog are active. Company profiles on PitchBook and Tracxn list it as a private, venture-backed company founded in 2019.

The company has shrunk. Inc42 reported layoffs of about 30% of staff in May 2023 and about 20% in early 2024. On September 4, 2024, Inc42 reported a third round that cut about 80% of the tech team. In that report, CEO Lalit Mangal said the company had right-sized to invest in AI-powered features. None of this means your event will fail. It does mean you should ask Airmeet who supports your account and what its event roadmap is before you sign a multi-year contract.

What Airmeet still does well. Reviewers on Capterra praise the stage, backstage, lounge, speed networking, and recordings in one package. Its webinar plan has a published price, which many event platforms do not offer. For a marketing team that runs webinars all year and the occasional virtual summit, it is a reasonable fit.

Where ConferenceTap differs. We are a small, founder-led company with one product: conferences, in person, virtual, or hybrid. Both plans are one flat price, with unlimited registrations and organizers. See what is included and how the plans work.

What Airmeet costs

Airmeet's pricing page lists four ways to buy. Premium Webinars, formerly the Standard plan, starts at $167 a month billed annually, with two team members and 100 attendees per webinar that can scale up to 10,000. Airmeet's blog gives the monthly rate as $199. The Events plan is quoted, with five team members and up to 10,000 attendees. Managed Events, where Airmeet's team runs the event for you, lists a brand conference from $4,999. An Agency plan charges no platform fee and bills for attendees.

Airmeet says it charges by the number of attendees, not the number of events. That is the number to watch. A conference that grows from 800 to 1,500 people can move to a different price. Capterra lists a free plan with 100 registrations and one organizer; some recent third-party reviews say live attendance on the free plan is capped lower than that, so ask Airmeet.

Questions to put to Airmeet. How many attendees does my quote cover, and what happens if we go over? Is in-person check-in included or in beta? Who will support our event? What is on the event roadmap for the next year? Can we sign for one year only?

How ConferenceTap prices it. One flat price per event, or one price for a year of events, quoted for your calendar. The price does not go up with attendance, organizer seats, or features. Paid tickets carry 3% plus Stripe processing; free tickets are free.

Other Airmeet alternatives worth a look

Start with what you use Airmeet for. Webinar programs and multi-day conferences need different tools, and the best replacement for one is rarely the best for the other.

For a webinar program, compare webinar-first tools such as Zoom Webinars and ON24. They are built for recurring marketing sessions and lead capture rather than multi-track agendas.

For virtual events from a large vendor, RingCentral Events, the product that was Hopin, has published per-organizer pricing. See our Hopin and RingCentral Events comparison.

For large in-person programs with registration, venues, and marketing in one suite, see our Cvent comparison and Bizzabo comparison.

ConferenceTap fits a conference that wants agenda, live sessions, networking, sponsors, and check-in on one flat price, for in-person, virtual, or hybrid events of up to 72 hours.

What to check before switching from Airmeet

Do this with a real agenda and made-up attendee records. It takes an afternoon and it saves a bad event.

  1. Export registrant lists, session recordings, and engagement data from Airmeet while your plan is active. Check the file formats.
  2. Note your Airmeet renewal date and any notice period in your contract.
  3. Ask us to import a sample agenda with at least two tracks. Open it on a phone and check every session, room, and speaker.
  4. Run a test live session with a few colleagues. Try Q&A, a poll, a breakout room, and a speed networking round.
  5. If your event is in person or hybrid, rehearse check-in with a phone at the door.
  6. Get both quotes in writing: platform, attendee overages, ticketing fees, and managed services.

These are evaluation steps, not a promise that every Airmeet export maps cleanly into ConferenceTap. Download the quote comparison worksheet (CSV) to keep both quotes side by side.

How much does Airmeet cost?
